About Us

 

Edmondson’s Independent Living was inspired by owner Vonceil Edmondson, whose personal journey began in the 1990s while caring for her father after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Through this experience, she witnessed firsthand the challenges families face in finding compassionate, reliable, and dignified care for their loved ones.

 

Motivated by those experiences, Edmondson’s Independent Living was established in 2018 with a clear mission:
to provide care, safety, and security to residents in a familiar, supportive environment.

Francisco Perez, a United States military veteran, brings a deeply personal perspective to Edmondson’s Independent Living. His passion for resident advocacy was shaped by witnessing his grandfather experience mistreatment while living in a care facility. This experience reinforced his commitment to ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.

Together, Vonceil Edmondson and Francisco Perez are dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where residents are valued, protected, and supported in maintaining their independence and quality of life.
